Ben is accompanied by Salman his mysterious benefactor's trusty and resourceful assistant and by Ronit an Israeli artifact-hunter who hopes to safeguard the map's treasure. Together they explore ancient palaces and secret chambers in search of the map staying one step ahead of the many forces that seek the treasure (and its power) for themselves. The first run of Ben Mortara comics was first published by Source Point Press but publication was halted before the final issue of the series was released. This edition puts together all four regular issues plus a short prologue to tell the complete story of Ben Mortara's quest for a legendary artifact.
