Beneath the Stairs

<p>In the sleepy town of Douglas Oregon there is a dark past. One that fourteen year old Gwen Evans and her friends are unaware of. So when they set out in the summer of 1982 on an adventure to find a ghost in the forest they were ill prepared. What they discover and what they encounter altered their perception of reality forever. </p><p>But for Gwen that day was more than just uncovering terrifying secrets hidden in the depths of an abandoned Victorian House or the encountering of supernatural forces it was the discovery of psychic powers within herself. That fall when school starts she and her friends hope they can put that summer day behind them. Unfortunately in their attempts to close one door they inadvertently open another. When they start preparing to return to the house and set things right they uncover another secret about the town. This leads them down a surprising path to a new ally who helps ready them for the battle that lay ahead. </p><p>Who knew being a freshman in high school would be so hard?</p>
