Will Moore and Jared Cook have little in common except theyre both 7th graders at Washington Middle School. Will is the new kid who hopes to overcome his size and make his name known in sports. Jared is the quiet kid that nobody notices and who longs for a friend. When basketball brings the unlikely pair together neither will fully understand the consequences. There is a sinister plot in their school and the boys unwittingly find themselves right in the middle of it.
