Jennifer Nelson is a dynamic reporter for The Times-Picayune. When Eileen Bastille her mother a patient at Heatherton Psychiatric Hospital suddenly dies Jennifer believes it is not of natural causes. She decides to go undercover at Heatherton as a patient and discover who murdered her mother. Dr. Carson Nelson a psychiatrist and her husband finally agrees under duress to support her 'harebrained idea' and use his influence and connections to get her admitted as a patient.It doesn't take Jennifer long to pick up on clues from some of the patients and things start to get weird. It is soon apparent that someone wants Jennifer out of the way. Will she discover why her mother was murdered before she loses her own life?
