<p>Stuck in a meaningless job Eight is treading water in life until a car accident leaves her in a coma. Suddenly she finds herself in the Between with a small group of strangers and an enigmatic immortal being named Sintra. Eight and the others have the opportunity to return to their lives-as long as they survive a series of tribulations devised by Sintra.
