Between theory and practice on hand hygiene

About The Book

The book is the product of the author's master's thesis and addresses the practice of asepsis using hand hygiene taught (in the student's training) as preparation for work. Hand hygiene is one of the aseptic practices taught in the early periods of health courses even before going into the laboratory. Its importance and technique are discussed in the classroom and it is required throughout the student's training at the educational institution and in the internship field. The work emphasised the integration of teaching and service within the scope of the internship field which was chosen as a public hospital for teaching and learning. From theory to practice it brings reflection in the hospital environment from classroom teaching to internship practice.
