Between Us

<p><strong><em>Between Us</em></strong> is an <strong><em>Intimate Poetic Diary </em></strong>daring you to read each poem as a true reflection of you and your life. And if you dive deep enough you might see that they are. </p><p></p><p>I wrote in the format of raw honest truth with poems like <em>Motha</em> unveiling my unfiltered dark reality of motherhood. It changed my view of the world. Past trauma and not knowing my true self sparked the start of my soul search. Each entry explores a woman experiencing a death and rebirth upon entering a new era of self-discovery.</p><p></p><p><strong><em>Between Us </em></strong>speaks to the broken hearted the grieving heart the heart yearning for love the heart that feels everything and the heart that is eager to face themselves and accept change. To all my girls embarking on this ground shaking voyage to understanding yourself know it is not easy but necessary. It is your rite of passage to understand your shadow and dig to find your light. Reinvent yourself often and nurture each version of you. I encourage you to find out what liberation looks like for <em>you</em> and chase it.</p>
