The most philosophical and strange of Kama Sywor Kamanda''s books where we find his main themes: life death love freedom the struggle for the ideals of justice and truth. Here begins an unusual world of mystical wonder made up of reflections and anecdotes in which social norms merge with appearances and obscure obsessions. Kamanda demonstrates in his own way the dangers of a worldview dominated by partisan interests at the expense of equity. He evokes the evolution that has led some African peoples in particular to a society that is entirely dependent on imperialism which denies the self-determination of individuals. Kamanda raises the problems of power that dehumanizes and disempowers people.
