Beyond the Horizon

<p>The polio epidemic sweeps the world.</p><p>In the mid-1900s children of all ages become condemned to life with the fate that invades their young bodies.</p><p>Elizabeth Kasper and Joe Pike children at the time meet in the hospital when suffering the tragedy of the disease.</p><p>Health and adulthood pulls them apart but both have difficulty navigating life. Plagued with misery that the trauma of polio left behind they lose their happiness to the misery of their childhood sickbeds. </p><p>With a childhood bond formed in the dark days of their affliction unexpected strange events bring the beginning threads of joy.</p>
