<p>Geology professor Alex McDonald is reassessing her life choices when she returns to her family home in the village of Glen Coe Scotland. Her arrival is the starting point for a series of extraordinary revelations culminating in the discovery that her grandfather's pocket watch may be a portal key that opens doorways to other dimensions. Alex enlists the help of long-time friend Jade Keegan and they set off on an adventure to fantastic new realms and a deadly encounter with an ancient supernatural adversary. </p>
