<p>Beyond the Mountains of Elbat is a tale about living with each other and the earth.</p><p>It is a fantasy tale about courage friendship and tolerance. It is about different types of creatures some mythic some serious some fantastic or silly and all contributing to an exciting adventure in a land called Uma (Sanskrit word meaning splendour tranquilityfame.)</p><p>A little girl and a little brown quail are the main characters who travel together to find the goddess Maia who keeps the seasons in balance.</p>
