A book of poems written by Oregon poet Linda Varsell Smith throughout the year 2020. It covers everything from Linda’s day-to-day life to climate change to politics. Linda retired from teaching creative writing life story children’s literature and Literary Publication which produced the award-winning The Eloquent Umbrella magazine for Linn-Benton Community College. She taught writing workshops judges poetry contests for all ages. She gives readings and sponsors poetry events. She was an editorfor Calyx Books for 32 years is former president of the Oregon Poetry Association and is current president of PEN Women in Portland. Linda is a member of Marys Peak Poets Poetic License Children’s Book Writers Writing the Wrongs to Rights part of the Women’s March. She plays competitive and cooperative Scrabble and is a fan of dance gymnastics art plays physics and metaphysics.
