Bhagat Singh

When Bhagal Singh was executed by the British after a sham trial for his involvement in the Lahore Conspiracy Case at the age of twenty-three he was glorified by the Indians as a martyr for his youth his defiance and his reckless bravery. It was only many years later after Independence in 1947 that his writings came to light. Today it is these that set Bhagat Singh apart and reveal him as not just a hot-headed revolutionary who believed in the cult of the bomb but a widely-read intellectual inspired by the writings of Marx and Lenin to whom the betterment of Indian Society was as important as the ouster of the British. In this book we have tried to explore all the related aspects of Bhagat Singh''s life and his participation in Indian freedom struggle. About The Author: Ravi Ranjan has credit to his all higher qualifications B.A. (Hons.) Pol. Sc. M.A. (Pol.Sc.) from Delhi University and M.Phil from J.N.U. Presently he is an Assist Professor at Govt. K.R.G. College Jiwaji University Gwalior. He possesses a prolong experience of teaching and research works pertaining of Indian Government and Politics in current perspective. He is a prolific Writer and editor and has attended many national and international conferences and seminars. M.K. Singh is a scholar thinker and prolific writer. He earned all higher degrees in Political Science from Delhi University. He has got to his credit Twenty other works on different subjects like Women Studies Human Rights International Relations etc. Presently he is a visiting faculty member of a reputed I.A.S. Academy. He edited fifty books to date. He has worked with Express Bureau as a Regional Resident Manager and made interviews with a number of national political leaders.
