The author hails from rural India where getting into high school was a great thing. He is a Civil Engineer and did his post-graduation in Business Management from NITIE Mumbai. Despite many well-paid campus placements he joined Indian Railways to serve the Nation. As a senior executive at Railways he was actively and closely associated with creation and upkeep of Rail infrastructure. While Rail Engineering is his profession Finance Economics and Management are his passions; And writing is his hobby. He is very vocal and critical of the gap between preaching and practice. He strongly advocates that knowledge is of no use unless it is put to use. His answers on Quora are widely acclaimed and exalted. While relating profession and passion he got fascinated to find an immense value in Gita. Documentation of his findings - this book - is more of a Treasure Hunt for the reader than dry proclamations.
