Bhati Ganger Naiya / ভাটি গাঙের নাইয়া : Bengali Novel

“Bhati Ganger Naiya” is a novel on state racism  that is practiced by the Indian  state of Assam discriminating its people on language region and race. Dictated by the favourite majority the state lets the minority sink gradually into the abyss of degradation and despair with the weapon of deprivation and divestment.This is the story of Paramita a daughter of an erstwhile refugee family that  settled in Barak Valley of South Assam during the Partition of India. She is forced to stay away from her family and birthplace to earn a living but her heart is always with them. She tries hard to keep their contact and nurtures a dream to return.
