Bildungsroman & the Amazon Princess

In a world of fantasy, two enemies square off against one another: Grimlindus, the general, necromancer and suave lord of evil; and Ariadne, young refugee princess, fleeing the invasion of her homeland and the murder of her family. Ariadne has discovered that she must travel to the three corners of the globe to obtain the power to face Grimlindus. Her quests of psychological and moral growth take her across mountains, deserts, steppes and ocean. She is hunted by Grimlindus’s minions, most notably Mora, the demon queen of death who destroys all in her path. Meanwhile, Pharos and the other companions begin a quest of their own, to find the magic Rhosa Tablets and discover the ritual to build a Sword of Life. Their paths are crossed by Otrera, the Amazon Princess, who will bring together the quests and will hold the final piece of the puzzle for Ariadne.
