Bilingual Cognition

The brain has forever remained powerful and mysterious and the ability to speak and read in more than one language is viewed as an academic talent. Combining these ideas together this work looks at the advantages speculated to exist in the cognitive abilities of those individual that speak more than one language in this case Chinese and English. Can those who are bilingual in fact recognize words faster than those are not? And do variables such as font affect the rate of word recognition and the frequency effect?
