More criminals at GreyfriarsBunter saves the life of a young waif and Mauly gives the boy a chance at Greyfriars. But Flip's first days at school are full of problems and he slides into his old ways too easily. He needs a lesson that he must not steal. Quelch is absent with a cold and it's a shock for Flip when the replacement master arrives because this is someone Flip knows and he's anything but a school master.
