Billy Saves the Day

<p><em>Billy Saves the Day</em> helps build confidence and understanding in children and teens who are likely to be either bullies or victims of bullies. In most cases it is never too early to discuss the subject of 'bullying' with your child. Jonathan Taylor has through his light picture book stories found a great way to bridge the conversation to this rather challenging subject. The main character Bobby singles out a bully who is always picking on his friend and decides to do something about it without equally becoming a bully.</p><p>This book teaches its learners how to shun bullying and embrace positive aspects such as compassion kindness and being a friend. It also highlights the kind of behavior that amounts to the opposite of being a good person.</p>
