About The Book

In this book the main focus is on the problem of lead removal from textile wastewater. We discussed here several lead removing methods and made a comparison among them. We also discussed the merits and demerits of several lead removing methods. On the basis of previous research we tried to find natural low cost adsorbent for the same. For this we have studied the properties of three natural adsorbents (Moringa Oleifera Prosopis Juliflora Peanut Shell) and set up experiments. Here adsorption study was done systematically with the variation in the parameters such as pH dose contact time initial concentration of adsorbate and also studied Langmuir Freundlich and Temkin isotherms to analyze the equilibrium data.
