Biodiesel Technology

This book may provide all the basic information for biodiesel production using acid and base catalyst from Indian Non-Edible Plant oil sources (Jatropha curcus Pongamia pinnata Azadirachta indica and Madhuca indica). The book has basic science and engineering parts. The first part of the book consist brief introduction production process (Transesterification) assessment of maximum physico-chemical parameters using international standard methods. The second part of the book deals the complete study of engine performance such as fuel consumption and break thermal efficiency using biodiesel blends ranges 10% to 50% of various Indian non-edible plant oil sources.
