Biography and personnel selection

Selecting the right employees is essential for companies and one of the most difficult tasks for HR managers. Identifying future employees in their entirety and drawing conclusions about their future work behavior are key aspects of personnel selection. This book describes various personnel selection procedures. Furthermore the biographical part in these procedures is presented with its advantages and disadvantages. The interviewers are very challenged in procedures with biographical components and intensive training is required. By means of biographical work and the questions derived from it conclusions can be drawn from past to future behavior and interviewers can be supported in their assessment of the applicant.
