Bioinformatics studies in Terminalia arjuna (Roxb.) Wight & Arn

Present review is an attempt to compile basics of bioinformatics system tools and step wise protocols for mining stored information in the databases from botanical study prospect. For this purpose widely explored native medicinal plant Terminalia arjuna (Roxb.) Wight & Arn has selected as an example. Bioinformatics work such as nucleotide sequences gene expression profiles protein sequences and patents obtained on T. arjuna (Roxb.) Wight & Arn has been extracted from the bioinformatics sites and presented in the review work.
