Biology and interference of Mimosa diplotricha with White Yam

This book is all about the invasive weed Mimosa diplotricha [Giant Sensitive Plant (GSP)] an invasive leguminous weed which reduces crop yield. Knowledge of its distribution germination and competitive interaction with arable crops such as Dioscorea rotundata (white yam WY) is necessary for control measures. However information on GSP germination and interference with WY is limited. Therefore distribution germination growth and critical period of interference of M. diplotricha with White Yam in Ibadan were investigated in this book.
