BIONANOCOMPOSITES IN THE BIOMEDICAL INDUSTRY

The interest of this scientific work is to formulate a bionanocomposite that has a topical antiseptic efficacy. It has been noticed that theses speaking only about bionanocomposites are rare so this book can be a reference on chitosan itself or on chitosan bionanocomposite hydrogels functionalized with silver nitrate and stabilized by sodium hydroxide. It highlights the importance of supramolecular complexation of chitosan particles and includes the reaction mechanism that occurs between chitosan monomers and acetic acid molecules in aqueous media with a specific technique that allows obtaining Nano chitosans. In addition the definition of bionanocomposite hydrogels has been well explained.
