With an academic and professional background in agriculture he engaged closely with grassroots communities. A middle-class Bengali by upbringing he later pursued business management gaining insights into commerce. Having experienced both leftist and rightist political environments he has observed social evolution from contrasting ideological perspectives which deeply influences his worldview and writing.
