Bird assembly in the pine forest of La Sabina Banao Cuba.

The research was developed during the months of March and April 2020 in a pine forest located in the Lomas de Banao Ecological Reserve with the objective of characterizing the bird community and its relationship with the structure of the vegetation in that formation. To carry out the bird census the methodology of counting in points proposed by Wunderle (1994) was followed for Caribbean bird content delimiting a total of 30 points of the content at a single distance between them of about 150 meters (determined by the double passage of the material). It identified a total of 32 bird species of which were grouped into 11 orders 18 families and 30 genera. The order and families Parulidae: Passeriformes Icteridae Passeriformes Tyrannidae del were the best represented in terms of number of species. Some of them showed the relationship between ornithocenosis and phytocenosis. Various types of birds associated species to a greater extent by: Sylviculture and Callophillum antillanum.
