Birds and Words

Reality. The sun has lit reality for over four billion years. In that space of time the chimpanzee evolved a thumb that enabled the claw to hold weapons in a new way. Large sticks and heavy stones have evolved to jet fighter planes and nuclear bombs. We are evolving a million years an hour but we arent going anywhere. Words that were thrown off the Tower of Babel have become meaningless. Were starving. We get fat but we continue to starve. Words drown in a sea of alternative facts. We hunger for clarity sanity. Reality is ugly. Reality ugly? Laughter that sits in the stomach of people dirt ground black under nails of labor sweat that shines the smoothness of the body the swelling womb of the life giver the mystery of God these ugly?
