In This Community Children Are Dedicated To The Gods Three Days After Delivery By Throwing The Child Into The River As A Form Of Initiation. When The Child Comes Out Dead It Is Attributed To The Child Being Evil. Usually It'S A Known Fact That Children Born With A Birthmark Don'T Survive This Ceremony. Nugwa Happens To Be One Of Them. During His Dedication He Miraculously Survived And Grew Up To Become The Community King Who Changed The Evil Tradition.
