Paul Roland is the author of more than 50 non-fiction books and has been an equally prolific independent recording artist releasing 20 albums (including the HP Lovecraft inspired 'Re-Animator' ad 'Bates Motel' written specifically for surviving members of the Velvet Underground). He has been called the male Kate Bush by one-time label mate Robyn Hitchcock and the godfather of Steampunk.
