<p>My husband Kaviyarasu Na.Kamarasan a remarkable poet of the past six decades stands out similar to ancient luminaries such as Wordsworth Tagore and Bharathi.</p><p>My younger brother Dr.Sanna Ratnavel had the unique advantage of being raised in the same cultural environment as the esteemed poet thanks to his mother's role as the poet's school teacher.&nbsp;</p><p>Sharing a similar poetic sensibility he undertook the immense task of translating Kaviyarasu.Kamarasan's works into English. Despite his busy schedule he dedicated himself to this endeavour and the result is a book that has been scrutinised and praised by the poet's close associates and literary scholars.</p><p>I am deeply grateful to my brother Dr.Sanna Ratnavel who is also an alumnus of IIT/New Delhi for fulfilling the request of my husband the poet Kaviyarasu. Kamarasan brings his works from the land of classic Tamil literature to the wider audience of English literature.
