<p>It's New Year's Eve in New York City 1998 and also the eve of Riley Bandoni's 30<sup>th</sup> birthday. Riley expects another ordinary birthday but instead something strange happens-something that changes her life forever. </p><p></p><p>After this transformative moment she wonders how this happened and why her... why now? In her search for answers she crosses paths with someone who reveals much more about her change than she could've ever imagined or thought possible. And there are others out there like her.</p><p></p><p>Having found some answers Riley tries not to let her new reality hinder her old familiar life. But the truth is this change could mean the failure of her successful career losing her closest friends and giving up her current relationship with the rich handsome charming Mark Madison-who's been chasing Riley since the day he met her-because he doesn't know the secret she keeps. </p><p></p><p>Right when Riley thinks she's got it all figured out she learns that she and the others like her may be in grave danger. She's forced to choose between her old life and embracing her new life to help those in need.
