Black in the Plural

The black category cannot be seen in a monolithic way closed in on itself. Rather it should be seen from the point of view of multiplicity so that there can be various ways of being black not least because being black is not a definitive fact it is procedural it is a becoming. Thus there is the possibility of the existence of various black identities for example: that of black militants from Campinas and that of black non-militants from Campinas.
