This story is about  the discrimination based on skin colour of a person how it deeply effects a childs psychology. Joy begins to think that she is adopted but then her father comes to her rescue by making her understand how soul is the only thing that matters.Author: Dr. Joyeeta Talukdar is currently working as a post-doctoral fellow in Cancer Biology at the department of Bio-Chemistry AIIMS New Delhi. She had done her doctorate from Gauhati University Assam on “Interaction of Cancer Stem Cells with Mesenchymal Stem Cells”. She is actively associated with NGOs basically in Assam and New Delhi working for tele-medicine of Cancer Patients their palliative care and counselling and especially able kinds. She loves to write about her day-to-day experiences.Illustrator: She is Miss Daisy Dolly Gogoi a 21 years old and elegant lady from Doomdooma Assam. She is pursuing her graduation with honours in Mathematics from Sibasagar Girls College Assam. She has immense passion as an illustrator and Cartoonist and likes to create something unique and creative. Presently she has done some work with Internationally renowned Artist Speed painter- Mr Rabin Bar. Currently she is also pursuing a professional Diploma in Art.
