Poetry using an abecedarius; is a special type of acrostic in which the first letter of every wordstrophe or verse follows the order of the letters in the alphabet. Using the method of Aabecedarius where presented with the entire alphabet from A to Z and then given free reign to offer words to add a word for each letter of the alphabet allows the unconscious mind brought into play. Whether poetry-driven or prose-driven the associations conjure up some interesting connections.
