Blind Girl

A 60-year old grandfather brings his blind 18-year-old granddaughter to Rome for experimental eye surgery. Another American staying at their hotel has committed a sophisticated burglary in the Vatican and has stolen an ancient document. While the thief negotiates a ransom with a cardinal in the Vatican he is murdered. He has given the stolen document to the unwitting grandfather and some mysterious stone-killer and all his forces come to get it killing everyone in their path. The grandfather and his granddaughter are warned and barely escape Rome. They are wanted for the death of the Vatican cardinal found dead in their hotel room they can't use their passports they can't travel openly but they must get back to America. The stone-killer has unbelievable official resources and is after them. The chase is on across Europe and Asia. The denouement is mind-blowing.
