Blue Feather's Frontier Life

Although loved ones come and go in Blue Feather's life she realizes that it is not just by blood or marriage that creates a family. A much stronger bond can come from love and trust and sharing a mutual fight for survival. She shared the pain when her friends lost their daughter to the white-man's world by turning her back on her Cherokee mother and white father. Because of her light complexion Gigi passes as white and will do anything to keep her secret. Blue's Warrior Spirit emerges not only during a forced Relocation march by Army Soldiers but also in keeping her sanity and baby son alive while being kidnaped by an old adversary. She is the core of this extended family that also includes a small pack of wolves and a spirit guide in the form of a little blue bird.
