BODY IN THE CANAL

<p class=ql-align-justify>Private eye Dick Maxim begrudgingly takes a cheating husband case from the sultry long-legged beauty Elizabeth Tully the wife of a bank president. </p><p class=ql-align-justify>    But then three days later he stood on the bridge that crosses the Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu Hawaii and watched his client's half submerged body slowly rising up and down on the small swells the water pushing her lifeless form up against the rocky bank. Her long black hair floated across her back. </p><p class=ql-align-justify>    He tried to remember what had happened after she slapped him but the bourbon he consumed before their confrontation had its way and he slipped off into a deep sleep.</p><p class=ql-align-justify>    Maxim knows he needs to get off the island but little does he realize his trouble has just begun.</p><p> </p><p><br></p>
