BOKO HARAM TERRORISM IN NIGERIA:

The book is on the Boko Haram Terrorism as endemic in Nigerian society. Imperatively the book examined the multi-dimensional effects of Boko Haram terrorism on Nigeria’s international security profile in the specific areas of her diplomatic relations Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Nigeria Military relations hospitality and foreign perception of Nigeria’s tourism industry; the areas of Nigerian Government responses to the prevalent menace of Boko Haram between 2009 and 2019. The book was able to expose the fact that Boko Haram menace has negatively affected Nigeria’s international security profile in the reviewed years thereby shaping negatively; her security perceptions and relations with the International Community; the Nigerian Government responses to Boko Haram terrorism over the years have not improved the security status of Nigeria in the global security ranking. Based on this some certain recommendation were made which will enable Nigerian government and other states globally to have more clues on how to combat terrorism and as well improve their International security profile.
