Books of Destiny

<p>The only thing Mim enjoyed while working at Grandfield Estate was their beautifully stocked library. She was the governess of young Anna the precocious daughter of the Whitakers who clung to an outdated sense of aristocracy and a full complement of servants. Mim struggles to balance the expectations of Grandfield while supporting her widowed father who is left on the sidelines after a warehouse injury. When WWI breaks out and Grandfield is seconded as a war hospital for recuperating soldiers Mim saw it as her opportunity to escape Grandfield. Will Mim be able to reconnect with her love of books and fulfil her destiny even when she ends up back at Grandfield nursing returned solders? </p>
