Border Town

This book is deeply a personal account reflecting the horror of the war. It deals with tragic lives of the people of the border town. Wars are fought for the personal glory of ruling elites. But wars bring horror and sufferings of the people. They flee helplessly to save themselves bombing. They run for food and water as they suffer from hunger and thirst. They run for safe shelters as their shelters were destroyed by bombing. They will be an on lookers while their dear one’s dye right in front of their eyes. The book deals the Iran’s history and its fast glory. It also deals Iran’s beautiful landscapes starting from Caspian Sea in the north to Persian Gulf in the south. It condemns the wars and war heroes. Sympathizes the tragic lives of war victims. It emphasizes the peace among all the people of the world. Peace be prevailed beyond the borders of the nations races and religions. He went Iran in 1986 on job assignment and stayed for six years. he was posted in a border town in the south west part of Iran. He was under constant threat of losing his life during his stay Iran for initial two years. Finally his town was bombarded but luckily he escaped from death. Dr. T Y Shekar is a medical doctor (General Surgeon). Retired professor of General Surgery. He taught the surgery topics for medical students for over 20 years. Presently taking rest at home. He had an interest in writing about social miseries faced by human beings in the society. Good number his letters were published in a local paper in a letters column. He had professional publications i.e. Simplified General surgery and Bed Side clinics for the medical students. He also published 25 professional papers in various national and international journals.
