He received his B.A. degree in broadcasting at San Francisco State University and went on to work as an anchorman reporter and producer for both commercial and public radio stations. He is also an artists' model and stage actor and has written for such genre magazines as </span><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Cult Movies </em><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>and </span><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Famous Monsters of Filmland</em><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>. </span><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Karloff in Twilight</em><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> a one-man show he wrote and performed in was staged in 2011.
