Born To Be Me

This poetry chapbook by Donna Wylie represents a body of work that spans twenty years. The themes embrace the breadth of those decades calling to mind love lost and gained the pull of nature memories of childhood and the author's search for her place within the world as a woman friend daughter and member of the human race.From the Author's Note: These poems serve as a gateway to the various lives I have lived. From this journey I have started over several times. Through each transition my identity has changed and been enriched. I believe as a two-year-old girl I was my most genuine self—free of filters norms and parental expectations. From this early model I am learning self-acceptance and being truer to myself.
