During grad school for biology she really thrived doing fun research and now she has an opportunity to work on a cutting edge product. So she doesn't really do romantic relationships. Definitely not. It will be a new adventure in a small town.

<span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Not until she meets her new boss Sean. Equally as passionate about work and with a calm exterior he seems to smooth everything over. Plus he's the small town golden boy. He's working on presenting to potential investors to grow the company and leave this small town. A new friendship could be just what they both need right? Except when late nights in the lab are making the attraction harder to ignore and keeping a secret is nearly impossible in a small town.

<strong style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Find out what happens in this sweet friends-to-lovers office romance where their secret attraction is getting harder to hide.

First Chapter Sneak Peek:

Mari

Studying plant cells and long nights in the labs did not turn into cute make-out sessions with my lab partner. Instead it was just me excelling at all my bioengineering experiments.

Now that grad school is over I'm still single but at least I'm on my way to my final interview with the owner of an amazing company called Enviro. After driving for four hours in my Prius I finally make it to the parking lot of their office. I sit back exhaling with my sunroof still open. What is it about the feeling of sitting in your car before getting out after a long drive? I'm a little early and now I can savor this moment. It's a beautiful day in April and the birds are chirping. I look up and see a dogwood is right above me its bright white flowers contrasting with the dark-green leaves.

Okay there is one catch to this new job. The company is in a small town called Madison Georgia-three hours south of Atlanta. No big deal because it is beautiful out in the country and most companies are in a rural place when working in environmental science. But Georgia is not my first choice. I'll only stay here temporarily. I'll get experience for a few years here then move to California or even Europe.

Taking a deep breath I realize it's time to go in. I've brought one of my projects with me and now I have to carry it inside somehow. It's a log with mushrooms that grow on it similar to having an at-home herb garden-but for mushrooms. I'm so proud of it but it's also really heavy.

Opening my car's back door I notice it rolled a bit in the backseat. I'll admit I am a tree-hugger but in this case...a branch-hugger?
