Orphaned at the age of three she and her younger brother John have lived for over 10 years under the caring but loose supervision of their Uncle Jim. When Ann becomes curious    about her past they embark on an adventure to rediscover their childhood home. They find the abandoned house and make it livable beginning with a few pieces of broken-down furniture. She soon learns life does not always unfold as planned.
