Bowl of Pictures

Every time she visits her grandparents Carla picks up the mahogany-colored bowl holding weathered photographs from the past. As a young girl growing up in the rural Midwest of the 1970's she learns family history from her grandmother who shares the stories behind the old black-and-white portraits. The joys and heartbreak of her ancestors inspire Carla to live with both loss and hope.
