My work is a contemporary investigation into the ethics of fundraising and corporate sponsorship within U.K. art museums. Working for one of the UK''s most important art museums at the time I asked myself whether oil company sponsorships with art museums such as that of BP with the British Museum and the Tate are ethically problematic and if so why? Then I asked myself: Do these museums really have a choice financially speaking? These questions led to interesting findings of which I illustrate in my book.
