Bread Cakes For Breakfast

<p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>As a boy Gordon loved breakfast time. Every morning his mother sent him to the bakery at the corner of their street to buy freshly baked breadcakes. When he returned his mum would butter the cakes and give the children one each. It kept him going all morning especially if his sisters didn't feel hungry and he got two!</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Gordon says 'I love mornings and love starting each day listening to God speaking through His Word and breaking the bread of life.' Along with David in Psalm 143:8 Gordon's prayer is</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> 'Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning... </span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Cause me to know the way in which I should walk.' </span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>He says 'We are inclined to talk to God or to discuss what He has said. Sometimes we have already decided what we will do. David appeals to God to make him hear. God wants to calm our hearts and spirits each day and cause us to hear His loving-kindness in the morning so that we can walk with Him throughout the day.'
