Breaking the Chain

<p><em>Breaking the Chain</em> <strong>depicts the struggles of five mulatto as they work through their relationships with each other and with the citizens of Cross Town Georgia.</strong></p><p><strong>This fictional novel focuses on the Jackson women and how they as individuals and as a unit deal with many of their problems—including racial prejudice socioeconomic disadvantages molestation infidelity and death.</strong><strong> </strong><em>Breaking the Chain</em> <strong>gives a vivid and descriptive glimpse into the lives of these women as they attempt to preserve the chain that binds them.</strong></p><p><em>Breaking the Chain</em> <strong>has been adapted into a stage play entitled</strong> <em>Broken Promises</em>.</p>
