Bridget

<p>An Irish rebel on the run leaves his eight year old daughter Bridget responsible for her ailing mother and siblings. Bridget must depend on her wits to provide for them. While in the woods to catch a rabbit she meets a woman who has been accused of witchcraft. Bridget must decide if this stranger is a friend or something evil.</p><p>For the first time in her life Bridget has someone who will answer her questions about life. After her mother drowns she will lose her home her little sisters and her future will look grim. Isadora teaches her to watch for signs from her guardian angels. They will always aid her in finding the answers. When the time comes for Isadora to move on she leaves Bridget with a prediction of dark and dangerous times ahead but an amazing future that awaits. With these words Isadora departs and is never seen again.</p><p>Again and again Bridget must deal with danger and losses. She decides to leave Ireland and to find a future in the new world by becoming an indentured servant.
